In the blink of an eye we find ourselves in the fall season of 2015. We may ask, “Where did the time go"; but I believe we know.
These past 10 months have proven to be some of the most exciting, fun, yet challenging times of our Solano Association of REALTORS.
As I’ve mentioned in the past it takes a village to move any organization into the future. We must learn from those who came before us and their experiences. We learn what works and what needs improvement. We must commend those who have had the fore site and conviction to teach others what’s important and in the end what makes our Association one of the best around. Each of our Board of Directors, Committee Chairs and Committee Members have opened their hearts and minds and have given of themselves this past year.
We should feel proud to be part of an organization who selflessly gives back to the Community in more ways then we can count. We raised monies for those in need, we’ve physically worked on home improvements for those in need, we’ve given time where there is little left and all without the need for recognition.
It is with great pride and sincere appreciation that I take this time to acknowledge all that our Association has completed this year and to give thanks to all of our members who made it possible.
We aren’t quite finished yet so get ready for the remaining two months ahead.
Our new leaders are about to take the “helm” as the gavel is handed over to Shelley Tappin and her Executive Board and Committee Chairs on November 20th at the 2015 Installation Dinner. It’s a time for celebrating those coming on board and a time to thank the 2015 team as well.
