 Welcome to our new Association's website. 2011 was a very productive year for the Association and I plan to continue to make improvements in 2012.    We have been fortunate to have had intelligent and dedicated Board of Directors, Committee Chairs and Executive Officer. We have a new Board of Directors who just took office all of whom are dedicated to your success and our association.

 Our Association accomplished several major goals last year. One was that we obtained our new Tax ID number for the Solano Association of REALTORS® Foundation with Trustees from the Make a Difference and Scholarship Committees and representatives of the membership. We had two successful fundraisers, one for Make a Difference in November 2011 and most recently, a Crab feed for the Scholarship Committee. We also had a successful Chili Cook off as a fundraiser for Lincoln School which is an event I plan to do again this year.

 The Board of Directors approved several Capital improvement projects most of which are complete including renovating our kitchen and installing new flooring in our offices and meeting room. We now have a new tenant in place and our property taxes reduced; both improving our financial condition.

 Our new website is set up as well as our Facebook page which I encourage you to “like" as it is a good way to stay informed. We heard our member’s concerns and are open to your ideas as this is YOUR Association. We have a special member only directory to locate other REALTORS® which is accessed by a member log-in to maintain your privacy. Members will find the list of affiliates as well. We appreciate our member’s input. Our website will be updated often so please check it weekly.

 Our Affiliates are the backbone of the Association as they continue to do a great job sharing their knowledge and time, especially at our fundraising events. Remember to recognize them and use their services as often as you can. 

 We continue to work with, and give back to our local community in several ways. We are continuing our clean-up of Springs Road.  Also, our REALTORS® really make a difference in their support of the Benicia and Vallejo Relay for Life fundraisers.

 I am proud to be a member of this Association and will work hard to insure our success. It is important that we work together especially in this changing economy, stay informed of what your local, state and national government is doing, and remain an ACTIVE and AWARE  participant in CAR and NAR as well as our local Association.
